Casino Hold'em — Complete Guide to Playing vs the Dealer

Place an ante. Get 2 cards and see 3 community cards (flop). Decide: Call double the ante, or Fold and lose only the ante. If Call — Turn and River are revealed, and if your hand beats the dealer, you get paid.

The dealer only "qualifies" with pair of 4s or better. If not — ante returns 1:1 and Call pays per paytable (pair 1:1, straight 1:1, flush 2:1, full house 3:1, quads 10:1, straight flush 20:1, royal 100:1).

Simple rule: always Call except when your hand is particularly bad after the flop (no pair, no draw, no matching overcards). Fold only ~18% of the time. Mindless calling increases house edge by 3%.

Optional side bet paying on starting hand: 7:1 on pocket aces, up to 1000:1 on royal. Higher house edge — not recommended for solid players.
