Say a $10 buy-in — $5 goes to the prize pool, $5 becomes your personal bounty. Eliminate a player with a $5 bounty and you get $2.50 instant cash, and your own bounty rises to $7.50. Knock out another player with a higher bounty and yours can climb to $15-20 within minutes. By the final table, veteran survivors can carry bounties of $50-100+, making them everyone's first target.
Rule of thumb: every $1 spent entering Battle Royale generates on average a higher return potential than a regular MTT at the same buy-in, thanks to the instant-cash component that doesn't depend on finishing the tournament.
