What a Club ID actually is
ClubGG is built as a network of closed clubs. Each club is a community with a unique six-digit identifier — the Club ID. Without this number you can't join: there's no open public lobby where anyone sits with anyone. This is what makes the game community-based rather than anonymous.
The joining process
Go to the Clubs tab in the app, choose Join Club, enter the number, and submit a request. The club admin approves manually. The Israeli club is 187197, and requests are usually approved within a few minutes.
Club versus agent — not the same thing
The club is the environment where you play. The agent (Agent/Host) is the person who guides you: opens credit, arranges payments, explains formats, and handles issues. A good agent is the difference between a smooth experience and frustration, especially at the start.
How to spot a trustworthy club
Before depositing any amount, it's worth confirming:
- Rakeback terms are written down, not "we'll talk about it later"
- Payment times are defined and published in advance
- Human support in Hebrew with reasonable response time
- An active community with veteran players you can ask
- Full transparency about table sizes and blinds
Common mistakes new joiners make
The first mistake is joining several clubs at once and spreading a bankroll too thin. The second is jumping into tables too big for a first session. The third is not keeping records of deposits and withdrawals. All three are easy to avoid.
After you've been accepted
It's worth starting at a freeroll or the lowest table in the club, getting to know two or three regular players, and asking the agent about the weekly tournament schedule. Community is the main advantage of a closed club — it's worth using.
