Omaha Poker — Pot Limit Omaha (PLO)

In Hold\'em you get 2 cards and can use both, one, or zero. In Omaha — 4 cards, but you must use exactly 2. This changes everything.

Example: you hold A♠K♠Q♦J♦ on a board with 4 spades. You do NOT have a flush — you only have 2 spades in hand. Omaha requires 2+3. Many new players fall for this rule.

• A♠A♥K♠K♥ (Double Suited) — the strongest hand in the game. Pocket Aces + Pocket Kings in two different suits.
• A-A-J-T Double Suited — connected and coordinated, huge straight and flush potential.
• K-K-Q-Q / K-K-J-J Double Suited — monster hands mainly on non-Ace boards.
• J-T-9-8 Double Suited — a perfect "wrap" hand with tons of draw potential.

• Nuts is the goal: in Omaha, two pair is a weak hand. High straights and high flushes are the minimum for a big investment.
• Close equity — sized betting: few 80/20 spots in Omaha. Someone always has a draw. Size up when ahead, not just hoping.
• Pot Limit changes everything: unlike NLH, you can\'t shove to steal. Everything is built gradually.
• Position matters double: Omaha decisions are more complex — acting last is a huge edge.
