What is WSOP Online?

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the most prestigious and longest-running tournament series in the world — running since 1970 in Las Vegas. Since 2020, in partnership with GGPoker, WSOP Online has also taken place — an online series that awards the same prestigious WSOP Bracelets that the Las Vegas winners receive.

What is a WSOP Bracelet?

The WSOP Bracelet is the most prestigious prize in poker — bigger than an Oscar in the film world. A player who wins a Bracelet earns a permanent place in the history of the game. Names like Phil Hellmuth (17 Bracelets) and Phil Ivey (10 Bracelets) became icons because of it.

How can players from Israel take part in WSOP Online?

MTT strategy — the 3 stages of a tournament

Unlike cash games, tournaments demand a strategy that changes by stage:

• Early Stage — deep stacks, play solid, see many cheap flops
• Middle Stage — blinds rise, time to increase aggression and steal pots
• Late Stage / Bubble — push/fold, ICM matters — stack size is worth more than raw chip count

ICM — the factor everyone forgets

The Independent Chip Model (ICM) is the idea that in a tournament, chip value is not linear. When you are close to the final table, it is sometimes better to fold a hand that is "profitable" in chip EV, because you lose more in $EV terms if you lose big pots. ICM matters especially on the bubble and at the final table.
