C-Bet — Continuation Bet

When you open preflop with a strong range (77+, AT+, KJ+), most of the time your range is stronger than the opponent\'s range on the flop. A small bet can fold out 2/3 of the opponent\'s hands — without you even needing to improve your hand.

Statistically: opponents miss the flop ~65% of the time. A 33% pot C-Bet needs to work ~25% to be immediately profitable — meaning almost always profitable postflop.

• A-High Dry (A72r): your range is full of ace-x combos. C-Bet 33% almost always.
• K-High Dry (KJ2r): similar. Large Range Bet.
• Broadway Boards (KQJ): boards that connect to a position-opener\'s range.
• Low Paired (55K, 226): no one has trips, C-Bet contains the opponent.

• Middle Connected (876, 654): the Caller\'s (BB) range connects more than yours.
• Monotone (♠♠♠): if you don\'t have a flush draw, consider Check.
• Wet & Dynamic (JT9): too many draws, opponent will call/raise easily.

• 33% Pot (Range Bet): on dry boards good for your range. Bet your whole range.
• 50-66% Pot: when you want value but also ready for Fold Equity.
• 75-100% Pot (Polarized): for a very strong hand or a distinct bluff. Used mainly on turn and river.

1. Analyze the turn card: does it continue your story?
2. If yes — Double Barrel (second bet on the turn).
3. If not, but you still have Equity (Overcards, Backdoor) — Check-Give-Up.
4. If your hand is strong — continue for value.

• C-Bet 100% of the time — opponents will catch you and call/raise.
• C-Bet too big on dry boards — wasted money, no difference between 33% and 75% in Fold Equity.
• Not giving up on C-Bet when the board doesn\'t fit — not every flop demands a bet.
