    Getting started

What is ClubGG and how do I start playing?

ClubGG is a poker app on the global GGPoker network that lets you play in private clubs. To start in Israel through PokerGG, download the app (iOS/Android/Windows/Mac), create an account and join our club with the invite code. Onboarding includes profile setup, first deposit and a personal recommendation for tables that match your level.

    Getting started

Do I need to download software or can I play in the browser?

ClubGG runs only as a dedicated app — there is no browser version. This protects fairness and prevents bots. Downloads are available for iOS, Android, Windows and macOS. All clients sync to the same account.

    Getting started

Is ClubGG for beginners or only advanced players?

Fits every level. There are ultra-low-blind tables (micro-stakes) for learning and high-stakes tables for experienced players. PokerGG gives close guidance to beginners, including poker rules, basic strategy and responsible-gaming pointers.

    Getting started

How long does it take to join PokerGG?

The process takes 5–15 minutes: download the app, create an account, send your details on WhatsApp, receive the club code, join. After the initial approval, you can play immediately.

    Getting started

What are the basic rules of Texas Hold’em?

Every player gets 2 hole cards, and 5 community cards are dealt in the middle. There are 4 betting rounds: Preflop, Flop, Turn and River. The winner is the player with the best 5-card hand, or the last one who didn’t fold.

    Money

Is play on ClubGG for real money?

Inside PokerGG, play uses chips within the club. Their value and the money side of things are handled personally with the team. Every player gets a full explanation of the entry, deposit and withdrawal terms before joining.

    Money

How do deposits and withdrawals work in PokerGG?

The process is handled personally with our team on WhatsApp. We support bank transfer, digital wallets and crypto. Withdrawals are usually processed within 24–48 hours. Full payment details are on the deposit & withdrawal page.

    Money

Are there fees on deposits or withdrawals?

PokerGG doesn’t charge internal fees. Costs may come from external payment providers (e.g. a bank or crypto conversion fee). Any fee is shown transparently before you confirm.

    Money

What’s the minimum amount to start with?

There is no fixed minimum — you can start very small and scale up gradually. Our team recommends a budget that matches your financial situation and experience.

    Money

What is Bankroll Management and why does it matter?

Bankroll management is the single most important rule in long-run poker. Standard rule: at least 25–30 buy-ins for cash games and 100+ buy-ins for tournaments. It protects you from variance — losing streaks that happen to every player, even pros.

    Trust & legality

    Is ClubGG legal in Israel?

ClubGG operates under a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority and is open to players worldwide, including Israel. PokerGG is a private community that lets Israeli players join the network. We recommend consulting your own legal advisor if needed, and playing responsibly.

    Trust & legality

How do you know the game is fair and there’s no cheating?

The GGPoker/ClubGG network uses a certified RNG audited by iTech Labs. There is a smart anti-bot system that detects automated players and an anti-collusion system that spots coordination. If a violation occurs, affected players are reimbursed.

    Trust & legality

Is GGPoker a real network or something obscure?

GGPoker is currently the largest poker network in the world by average traffic. It hosts WSOP Online and sponsors world-class pros. The network has been operating since 2017 and serves millions of players.

    Trust & legality

Is my personal data safe with PokerGG?

We don’t store payment details — all payments go through secure third-party providers. Identification data is used only for club verification and never shared with third parties. WhatsApp communication is end-to-end encrypted.

    Trust & legality

What happens if I have a problem or complaint?

PokerGG support is available 24/7 on WhatsApp. Every issue is escalated internally to the network. GGPoker also has an international English-language support line for technical questions.

    Strategy

What is a basic strategy for a beginner?

    1) Play strong hands from good position. 2) Avoid seeing flops with weak hands. 3) Learn to read Pot Odds and Implied Odds. 4) Don’t play on tilt — take a break after a bad beat. 5) Start at low stakes and only move up when your bankroll justifies it.

    Strategy

What is Position and why is it so important?

Position is your order of action in a betting round. A player in late position (Button, Cutoff) acts last and gains a huge edge because they see everyone else’s actions first. Early-position players (UTG) must play tighter. In the poker community, position is estimated to be worth around a 15% long-run edge.

    Strategy

What’s the difference between GTO and Exploitative play?

GTO (Game Theory Optimal) is a mathematically unexploitable strategy — theoretically perfect play. Exploitative play means identifying opponent mistakes and attacking them — e.g. bluffing a player who folds too much, or value-betting wide against a player who calls too much. Pros combine both.

    Strategy

What are Pot Odds and how do you calculate them?

Pot Odds = the amount you must invest divided by the total pot after your investment. Example: pot is 100 and villain bets 50 — you need to invest 50 to win 200. Pot Odds = 50/200 = 25%. If your probability of winning the hand is higher than 25%, calling is mathematically profitable in the long run.

    Strategy

What is a 3-bet and when should I use one?

A 3-bet is a re-raise of an opponent’s initial raise. Use 3-bets with (a) premium hands for value (AA, KK, QQ, AK) and (b) bluffs from the bottom of the range for balance (e.g. A5s, 76s). Typical sizing: about 3× out of position, 2.5× in position.

    Strategy

How do you spot and exploit a tilted opponent?

Tilt signs: outsized raises, wide calls, cards shown after a fold, angry chat. Exploit: avoid bluffing them (they won’t fold), value-bet wider (they’ll pay), but not with any hand — you still need a made hand.

    Tournaments

What is an MTT and how is it different from a cash game?

An MTT (Multi-Table Tournament) has a fixed buy-in, blinds that go up every X minutes, and runs until one player has all the chips. Cash games run open — you can join or leave anytime and blinds are fixed. MTTs require more patience and ICM strategy.

    Tournaments

What is ICM and why does it matter in tournaments?

ICM (Independent Chip Model) is a mathematical model that converts chip stacks to expected dollar value given the payout structure. Key rule: near the money bubble and at the final table, losing your whole stack costs more than doubling it — meaning you should play more cautiously.

    Tournaments

    What is GG Masters?

GG Masters is GGPoker’s flagship weekly tournament with a $1.25M Sunday guarantee, a $150 buy-in and satellites from $1. One of the most profitable tournaments for mid-stakes players thanks to frequent value overlays.

    Tournaments

    What is Spin & Gold?

Spin & Gold is a hyper-turbo 3-handed tournament with a variable jackpot that can reach up to 12,000× the buy-in. Buy-ins run from $0.25 to $250. A fast game (5–15 minutes) built on push/fold strategy at high blinds.

    Tournaments

    What is Battle Royale?

Battle Royale is a special GGPoker MTT with 1,000+ players and large guarantees. It runs in several structures: Bounty, Progressive KO and Freezeout. Buy-ins range from $10 to $500+.

    Tournaments

    What is Flip & Go?

Flip & Go is a unique GGPoker format: the first 10 minutes are a ‘flip’ (everyone all-in), then normal play continues. A short (30–90 minute) format with high variance and a specific strategy.

    Strategy

What is Short Deck (6+ Hold’em)?

Short Deck is a Hold’em variant that removes the 2s–5s and plays with a 36-card deck. Rule changes: flush beats full house, and A-6-7-8-9 is a straight. The relative frequency of made hands is different, which requires full range adjustments.

    Strategy

    What is Rush & Cash / Fast-Fold?

Rush & Cash is a cash-game format where, after you fold, you’re moved instantly to a new table with new cards — no waiting for the next hand. It speeds up play 3–4× and demands a strategy shift: less reliance on reads on known opponents and more standard range-based play.

    Strategy

What is Rake and how does it affect you?

Rake is the fee the house takes from each cash-game pot (typically 2.5%–5%, capped). In tournaments, rake is part of the buy-in (e.g. $10+$1 → $1 is rake). Rake is the main cost of playing and what makes poker a negative-sum game. A good strategy factors rake into marginal decisions.

    Getting started

What is the hand ranking in Texas Hold’em?

From strongest to weakest: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair, High Card. Note: Flush beats Straight; Full House beats Flush.

    Getting started

    What are blinds and antes?

The Small Blind and Big Blind are forced bets posted by the two players to the left of the dealer before cards are dealt. An ante is a small forced bet everyone posts (more common in tournaments). This guarantees there is money in every pot.

    Money

What are Rakeback and Fish Buffet?

Rakeback is a refund of part of the rake you paid, returned to your account. GGPoker’s Fish Buffet is a dynamic loyalty program with 6 tiers (Plankton to Whale) that returns up to 60% of rake in cash, depending on activity.

    Trust & legality

What is KYC and why is it required?

KYC (Know Your Customer) is an identity check required by the network under its licence. It includes an ID photo and a proof of address. It’s an international anti-money-laundering standard and also protects players.

    Trust & legality

    Can I play anonymously?

Fully anonymous — no. There are KYC requirements. But at the tables — yes: the visible name is a nickname you choose, and opponents don’t see your real name. GGPoker also offers Anonymous Tables where names are fully hidden to prevent HUD-tracker profiling.

    Getting started

    Can I play from mobile?

Absolutely. The ClubGG app works great on iOS and Android. The interface is mobile-optimized — easy to navigate, clear categories and smooth animations. Many players play 100% on mobile.

    Getting started

How many tables can I play at once?

Officially up to 4 cash-game tables at once in the app. In tournaments there is no cap — experienced players multi-table 10–20 events at once. On mobile, we recommend no more than 2–3 tables.

    Strategy

What is a HUD and how does it help?

A HUD (Heads-Up Display) is a helper that shows real-time stats on each opponent (VPIP, PFR, 3-bet%, etc.). GGPoker bans external HUDs to protect newer players but provides PokerCraft, a free built-in analytics tool.

    Trust & legality

    Does GGPoker block professional players?

It doesn’t ban them, but it has a policy that favors recreational players. Some tools are blocked (external HUDs, tracking software), there are anonymous tables and seat-selection restrictions. This creates a more balanced playing field for newer players.

    Money

How long does a withdrawal take?

Standard withdrawals are processed within 24–48 hours in most cases. Crypto — usually within hours. Bank transfer — 2–5 business days. First withdrawals may take longer due to KYC verification.

    Tournaments

    What is a Freeroll?

A freeroll is a tournament with a real prize pool but no buy-in — free to enter. GGPoker hosts multiple daily freerolls with $50–$500 in guarantees. A great way to learn the platform risk-free.

    Tournaments

    What is a Satellite?

A satellite awards a seat into a higher buy-in tournament instead of a cash prize. For example, a $10 satellite that wins a seat into the $150 GG Masters. A cost-efficient way to play larger tournaments.

    Strategy

What is the most common mistake for new players?

Playing too many hands (‘too loose preflop’). The average newcomer plays 40–50% of hands, while a solid strategy is around 20–25%. Other common mistakes: not folding on the flop when the hand didn’t improve, calling too much instead of raise/fold, and playing on tilt.

    Getting started

Are there welcome bonuses for new players?

Yes, PokerGG offers a welcome package for new players, subject to club and network terms. Full details are given during personal onboarding. Read the full terms before accepting any bonus.
